Over the span of eleven years I have worked with a variety of stones. I am interested in how I can make the material live and assume forms such as water and flight as in ' birdwave '. Its a tussle between what the stone itself offers and what I want it to express. It assumes the role of actor, acting out many parts. Despite the unobvious shapes and structures it has to appear convincing; like a good actor not drawing attention to the acting.
